Who is Dr. Bernstein?

Dr. Joshua Bernstein is a native to the Asheville area. After graduating with distinction from The University of North Carolina School of Medicine, he completed his residency at Harvard’s combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics program in Boston. After completing board certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Bernstein spent the next 6 years providing primary care to patients of all ages as well as teaching on the Harvard Medical School faculty. During Residency he married his wife Elizabeth Bernstein, an Endocrinologist practicing at Asheville Endocrine Consultants. Dr. Bernstein has three young children, Anna, Jacob, and Benjamin. He moved back to Asheville in 2005 and opened Asheville Medicine and Pediatrics.

     Who is Dr. Bubb?

 “Originally from upstate NY, Dr. Bubb completed her undergraduate degree at Siena College in Albany, after which she spent a year volunteering at a homeless shelter in Boston.  She attended medical school At University of Massachusetts Medical Center before doing her combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  She began her practice with a rural Internal Medicine/Pediatrics group outside Charlottesville, Virginia, while also holding a faculty appointment at UVA Medical Center with the Department of Internal Medicine for 5 years.  She moved to Western NC in 2007 to work on the Cherokee Indian Reservation.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is excited about the opportunity to join our combined Med-Peds practice here in Asheville.  Dr. Bubb lives with her husband and 2 young daughters.  They enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and anything involving the outdoors in the beautiful mountains of Western NC.

 

Who is Dr. Huneycutt?

Dr. BouaSy Huneycutt is a native of North Carolina.  She completed her undergraduate training at North Carolina State University and then graduated from East Carolina University School of Medicine in 1998.  She successfully completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residency program at the University of South Florida College of medicine in Tampa Florida.  After 5 years of providing primary care for patients of all ages in the Tampa bay area she moved back to North Carolina to join Asheville Medicine and Pediatrics in 2007.

Who is Dr. Morehouse?

Dr. W. Victoria Morehouse is a native of Boulder, Colorado. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where she received undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Medical Anthropology. She then went to Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, where she completed a Masters in Public Heath as well as her Medical Doctorate. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics following her dual residency programs at Strong Memorial Hospital and Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester in upstate New York. Following her training, she provided primary care for rural families in Northeast Georgia for three years as a National Health Service Corps Scholar before settling in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She has two young sons, Dante and Marcel. Dr. Morehouse is honored to join her colleagues at Asheville Medicine and Pediatrics in providing thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized medical care.
