What is Medicine & Pediatrics?

Physicians trained in Medicine and Pediatrics have completed a four-year residency consisting of 24 months each of internal medicine and pediatrics training. They have an extensive ambulatory experience providing comprehensive care to children and adults. Their training provides extensive experience in complex disease management of adults and children as well as developmental and behavioral problems in children, adolescents, and aging adults. Upon completion of training, Medicine and Pediatrics graduates may apply for board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. The synergy of training in the two disciplines creates a unique and diverse fund of knowledge which allows them to provide the best care possible for both children and adults.
